Irema's unique Micro 2000 Plus HVAC Filter Media has broken the mould in an industry traditionally dominated by Man Made Mineral Fibres (MMMF).

Recent regulations such as ASHRAE Standard 52.2 governing Indoor Air Quality are becoming more widely accepted as the norm. As a result, more manufacturers of HVAC systems are looking for filter media with maximum filtration efficiency at the lowest possible pressure drop. Irema's Micro 2000 Plus is compliant with these criteria. It is a lofted 3-dimensional filter media, with a mixture of coarse and fine fibres, meeting the efficiency requirements while giving as low a pressure drop as possible. This provides the ideal synthetic fabric for manufacturing bag filters, giving maximum efficiency.

Irema's HVAC filter media Micro 2000 Plus has fine fibres with diameters as low as 0.3 micron. These fine fibres ensure the mechanical filtration effect, rather than having a dependence on static charge.
