Indonesia’s Ministry of Health has confirmed the country’s second case of H5N1 Avian Flu.The 28 year old man, a truck driver, from Bakasi, died from the disease. He developed a fever, aches and back pain on Sep16 for which he received treatment. However, he was admitted to the hospital on Sep 20 where he later died of avian flu.
The Center for Biomedical and Healthcare Technology Association later confirmed H5N1 avian flu. Since 2005, there have been 194 H5N1 cases in Indonesia, including 162 deaths.
